Commenced as a venture for good cause by a group of enthusiastic youngsters from a small village located at the outskirts of Alappuzha district, Prahladaa Social Service Trust has steered its trajectory to an accomplished one since 2019. The dimensions of helping hands has manifold through distinct realms and has been at the centre of support to not only the native village of Thuravoor but also across the needy quarters of Kerala.

Our community service has abated the hardships of the deprived sections amidst the 2018 floods to the contemporary COVID scenario and the subsequent nationwide lockdown. There have been countless small and big initiatives undertaken over the years, but our quest for an ICU ambulance, as part of the "Ambulance Challenge," has been at the forefront of the social service from its inception in July 2020. The dimensions of our aid have their ambit not only in health sector but also at education, Palliative care, environment conservation, etc...

The health care projects under ‘MEDICARE’, have been anchored at the assistance to needy infants in the form of their essential food and medications as well as the distribution of medical equipment and commencement of Palliative Care Programs etc.

The ‘HARISREE’ initiative has catered to the education sector, thereby enhancing the cognitive skills of students through resourceful developmental initiatives which are concentrated on local government and aided schools. For filling the vacuum of digital divide amidst the pandemic, the distribution of smart phones at the Ernakulam wing was also undertaken.

The quest for mitigating the climate change has been accomplished through the ‘THANAL’ initiative. This project entails a large-scale effort to save mangrove forests by increasing coverage and conducting awareness programmes for environment conservation by planting trees in public.

Apart from these principal ones, there were number of initiatives have been embarked upon. The installment of 24*7 water purifier, initiation of blood donation camp, cake challenge, webinars on Anti-drugs day, aid for the equitable distribution of vaccines for all, etc are some among these. Thus Prahladaa has been effective in ensuring the welfare of the vulnerable strata of society since its commencement and is in pursuit for a righteous cause.
